A fresh report by America’s Cable News Network (CNN) indicates that more than the alleged 100 Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers were killed by the al-Shabaab in the infamous el-Adde attack on January 15, 2016.

In the report published by the international media house, it is alleged that 141 soldiers were massacred by the terrorists who invaded their camp at dawn.

“Al-Shabaab, which is known to exaggerate its figures, claims to have killed 100 Kenyans. This time, though, the terror group may actually be underestimating: Two officials familiar with the recovery operations have told CNN that the Kenyan death toll from that day is at least 141,” the media house reports.

The report goes on to indicate how the government has been quietly burying the fallen soldiers, keeping information about their fate from the public despite being its interest to know the fate of the soldiers.
According to the report, the many fallen soldiers’ bodies have been quietly flown into the country with burials going on across the country.
It gives accounts of two soldiers who were quietly buried in Narok and Mombasa after being felled by the militants.
