KANU's OFFICIAL IN TROUBLE FOR GOING TO BED WITH RAILA ODINGA


The Kenya African National Union (KANU) party Secretary General Nick Salat is in trouble after attending the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) Madaraka Day rally at Uhuru Park.

KANU has indicated that while it is of the view that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) should be reconstituted, it does not subscribe to confrontational politics apparently employed by the CORD.

West Pokot Senator John Lonyangapuo has hit back at Nick Salat for attending the CORD rally and the anti-IEBC demonstrations two weeks ago, and has hinted that Salat is likely to face disciplinary action for his actions.
“I wish to remind Kenyans that the party KANU, stands for peace, love and unity for all Kenyans. We don’t subscribe to confrontational politics. As a party, like many other parties including our competitors, e.g. JAP, want IEBC to be reformed before 2017 elections,” the senator wrote in his Facebook account.
