According to him, the Budalangi MP was simply looking for a way to join a winning coalition after the elections as there is no middle ground in Kenyan politics. No so-called third force, he said.
“This is selfishness at its best. It is the poorest way of planning to join the government because the plan could backfire the moment something akin to a tyranny of numbers is achieved by the main coalitions in 2017,” the Kakamega county ODM secretary wrote.
Ababu Namwamba, Funyula MP Paul Otuoma and Sirisia’s John Walukhe resigned from their positions in ODM and are set to join another party. Ababu was the ODM secretary general, Otuoma was the party vice chairperson while Welukhe was the party’s Bungoma county chairman.
