There is a likelihood of the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) to be disbanded ahead of the 2017 polls and a new coalition formed.

This is according to a report carried by Nation which indicates that CORD leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka are in talks with four other key political players to form what sources termed as a mother of all coalitions.

The four are believed to be ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi, NARC’s Charity Ngilu, KANU’s Gideon Moi and NARC-Kenya’s Martha Karua.

This was confirmed by Suna East MP Junnet Mohammed.

“I can authoritatively confirm that Odinga, Mudavadi, Moi and Musyoka are deep in talks to craft a super alliance to deliver Kenya from the yoke of corruption,” Junnet said as quoted by the paper.

Mudavadi’s close ally Ayubu Savula also confirmed that the ANC leader has been talking with the CORD leaders in a bid to join forces.
